Hi Maura! I found your blog post about Glacier and love your tips with hiking with a toddler! Thank you for sharing your experience! I do have a question. What time did you make it to Two Medicine Lake for the Aster Falls hike? We will be coming from West Glacier and I do want to make it early for our family when we go visit!

This article has been SOOO helpful! The details you have included about the kids ages that were able to complete the hikes, what will see along the way, incidents you had and how both the grown-ups and child handled them (little Rowans knees), to what you did upon completion of the hikes (swim or ice cream, etc), all habe helped me better envision the hikes with my own children, know what to anticipate, how to prepare, and ultimately select which ones will be best for us. Thank you for your thoroughness and including photos! I feel better now about heading into this adventure with our young family!

I’ve had great pleasure reading your blog, you have a beautiful family, and I truly admire how your kids enjoy outdoors, I remember myself taking my small kids on hiking trips, It was hard but so pleasing. Now they are all grown up and prefer to go outdoors with their friends instead of us parents, but I don’t mind, this is how things go.
